What is your theological background?
I am an Ordained Minister in the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) and a sixth generation Disciple. I have served as Senior Pastor of two congregations, as well as serving on the staff of other congregations in various capacities. I majored in Religious Studies at Yale University and received my Masters of Divinity at Memphis Theological Seminary.
How long have you been performing weddings?
I performed my first wedding ceremony in June, 1994 and have been officiating weddings ever since. I've been blessed to perform weddings in Tennessee, Mississippi, Arkansas, Louisiana, Florida, Virginia, and once on a Cruise Ship.
What do you like BEST about weddings?
There are so many things I love about performing weddings, but there are two things that stand out the most. The first is standing with the Groom watching the Bride come in. Both seem to glow. The other is watching the couple as they share their vows with each other. It's the moment that says it all.
